How we write our guides
Our guides explain the paperwork side of settling a Maryland estate: the records, the dates and how the pieces fit together. This page says who writes them and how we check them.
Who we are
The AI Executor LLC builds software that reads a decedent’s bank statements and turns them into reconciled records for executors, CPAs and estate attorneys. We are not a law firm or an accounting firm.
How each guide is made
Every guide starts from primary sources: the Maryland Code (mainly the Estates and Trusts Article), the Register of Wills’ published guidance and forms, and government pages such as the IRS’s. Drafts are written with the help of AI tools. Before anything is published, every statement is checked line by line against the sources it cites, and anything we cannot trace to a source is taken out.
Each guide lists its sources and the date it was last checked. When the law or the Register’s guidance changes, we update the guide and the date.
What our guides are not
They are general information, not legal or tax advice, and they don’t create any relationship with you. Every estate is different. For how the law applies to a particular estate, ask an attorney, a CPA or the county’s Register of Wills.
